Overview

This document describes how to delete a file using JCE File Browser.

Procedure

1. In the Joomla! back-end (Control Panel), go to Components > JCE Editor Pro > File Browser: 
   
   
2. Once in the File Browser, look under Folders to the left. (Note that "Home" corresponds to the main "images" folder. 
3. • To delete a file located in "images," don't select a folder; just proceed to the next step (Step 4). 
   • To delete a file from a folder under "images," browse to and select the folder.
4. Click the check box to the left of the file name(s), then click the "Trash" icon (see #1 below)
   Note: if you delete a file, any links to those files will no longer work.
