Windows update instructions:

  • Click the Start Menu
  • Type 'check for updates'
  • Click 'Check for Updates' in the menu
  • Click 'Check for Updates in the box that appears
  • Follow installation instructions and reboot your machines if necessary.

In October 2018, the School completed its migration from Novell OES to Rutgers Active Directory (RAD).  All traditional file and print sharing is now done through RAD using your University NetID and NetID password.

As part of this migration, all managed workstations have been joined to the RAD domain.  In order to log in to these computers and access files and printers, your NetID must belong to the appropriate group(s) in RAD.

There are a few pockets that have yet to be connected to RAD, and others still that may have different or additional arrangements in place for these services.  Feel free to check with your local IT support for additional information.  If you are having difficulty connecting to resources, you may also submit a secure SUBMIT REQUEST and we will be glad to help.
