Rutgers Connect Math Migration Update

Everyone,

First, at note...

Just like the last message that was sent, you may receive multiple copies of this message because the message is being sent to every e-mail address we know for each user.  We want to minimize the chance that messages will be sent to an account that is not checked regularly.  Once the migration to the new system is complete, this will no longer be necessary.

Now for the update...

The user verification stage of the e-mail migration has been completed.  The information for the account migrations have been passed to OIT and the migration vendor so they can setup the accounts on the new system.  We've tentatively scheduled the migration of the data to begin on the 29th of July.  At this point an e-mail will be sent to remind users not to modify the folder structure in their existing accounts.

At this point no additional changes can be accepted to the migration information.  If additional changes are necessary they will be made after the migration has completed.

People who are moving to Scarlet Mail will be contacted during the coming week to schedule the move of their data.

Soon those who have not changed their NetID password since January 15th will receive a notification from OIT that they are required to change it.  This allows your new password to be saved into Office 365 so that you can login.  If you receive this notification, please change your NetID password as soon as possible.

An e-mail about training sessions will be sent shortly and, once your accounts have been created in the new system, you'll be asked to test your login.

If you have any questions, please send e-mail to  or submit a REQUEST.

Thanks
- Tom
